This morning I was listening to my favorite Vancouver radio station (shh they deserve the plug :P) and I heard that the Pitter patter of another child’s feet might be heard in the White House soon:

From PerezHilton.com:

This is completely unconfirmed and at this point just a “rumor” but….

We’re hearing the talk in D.C. is that Michelle Obama is pregnant.

Could this be true?????

It’d be happy news!

Hopefully it’s a boy

I think It would be fantastic! What a perfect way to add to the whole “family man” image.  I think the Obama’s are on top of the world right now and if this is true, I think that it would just be the cherry on top of the cake 🙂

Wishing them all the best either way 🙂

What do you guys think? Comments below please! ❤

Barack Swears in

Obama Inauguration CrowdWhat a day it was yesterday, the sun was shining over head, the birds were singing and over a million people gathered into Washington’s Mall, which incidently, stretches 2 miles from the Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial on the Potomac River, and along Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House, to hear and see President Obama place his hand on Abraham Lincoln’s Bible and say the oath of office that was said 43 time’s before him. Onlookers of every type wittnessed History yesterday as the first African American President was sworn in.  This blogger is a very open minded person and doesn’t want to touch onto the “Black President” issue’s, I don’t think it matter’s what color his skin is, he is a qualified and intelligent person who deserves to be where he is.

Some do not think the same as I do tho so I believe the  unprecedented security was well needed. About 8,000 police were deployed and a total of 32,000 military personnel were on duty or on standby. Homeland Security is fully aware of what potential evils lurk for President Obama. Not to be obvious here but Obama has more then just the Charisma to match President Kennedy. He’s taking on a mountain here and is going to be just as contraversial when things start to get going and not everyone ends up happy..Some were calling him a socialist before he was even elected. Mostly those that don’t want the money out there to be distributed more evenly to the people, going against the old “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer” adage. All I know is, It’s going to be an intresting next 4 years.

The Internet crashed yesterday because of How many people were trying to get online to watch the Inauguration. Apprantly CNN pre-empted this and was able to stay online because they planned ahead with a waiting room, so yay CNN you get a Cookie ;). The Amount of people that are intrested in this only show’s the enormous weight that President Obama has taken on. In his speech he said “Every so often the oath (of office) is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms”. He know’s what lay’s ahead and he’s still prepared to take it on. So even tho some are nit-picking cause Obama messed up the oath of office at the beginning, I think it just show’s how much this means to him, that he was just excited with realization that everything was happening. He was now taking on probally the most messed up America in History, he’s got a lot to do.

Here’s him swearing the oath for those that didn’t get to see it:

And his Speech:

Peace 🙂

Last night now ex-President George Bush said Goodbye to the American people in a public address that lasted about 13 ish minutes.  Which mostly consisted of him trying to convince America that his Presidancy wasn’t really all that bad lol. It didnt even take him 2 minutes in before he started talking about 9/11 and how far America has gone to take care of those nasty terrorists. He adoringly thanked America for allowing him to be their president and he even admitted “there have been good days and bad days” but don’t worry America is a strong and proud country that will surely prevail *paraphrasing*

If your intersted in watching his Goodbye…

Part 1:

Part 2:

Once Again, Good Luck Obama, I’m sure you’ll do great, anything is better then the last 8 years 😉

Comments Below please, they make me Giddy.

In a bit of Canadian news…

When Barack Obama makes his first out of country presidential visit, he will be enjoying the clean crisp Canadian air 😉 Keeping with what has been a tradition for many years (Except for President Bush who went to Mexico first) Barack will in fact be coming to Canada. He obviously see’s the strong relationship and support that Canada gives the States and wants to continue to strengthen it. While Canada has no immediate issue’s with America, we do have some that need to be addressed and its nice to know that Barack can see that.

The Legacy of George W..

As George W. Bush leaves the White House soon his presidency will leave behind a legacy of Bushisms, the label given to his unique and often idiotic speaking style so in celebration of this occasion I’ve decided to bring you all….

The Top 10 Classic Bushisms!

10) “Throughout our history, the words of the Declaration have inspired immigrants from around the world to set sail to our shores. These immigrants have helped transform 13 small colonies into a great and growing nation of more than 300 people. “
July 4, 2008 in Virginia.

9) “Rarely is the question asked, is our children learning?”
January 2000, during a campaign event in South Carolina.

8.)There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.”
September 17, 2002, in Nashville, Tenn.

7) “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”
August 5, 2004, at the signing ceremony for a defense spending bill.

6) “Too many good docs are getting out of business. Too many OB/GYNs aren’t able to practice their love with women all across this country.”
September 6, 2004, at a rally in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

5) “Our most abundant energy source is coal. We have enough coal to last for 250 years, yet coal also prevents an environmental challenge.”        April 20, 2005, in Washington.

4) “We look forward to hearing your vision, so we can more better do our job.”
September 20, 2005, in Gulfport, Miss.

3) “Make no mistake about it, I understand how tough it is, sir. I talk to families who die.”
December 7, 2006, in a joint appearance with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

2) “The fact that they purchased the machine meant somebody had to make the machine. And when somebody makes a machine, it means there’s jobs at the machine-making place.”
May 27, 2008, in Mesa, Arizona

And Last but not least…

1) “Thank you, Your Holiness. Awesome speech.”
April 16, 2008, at a ceremony welcoming Pope Benedict XVI to the White House.

And just cause it always sounds funnier in person 😉 …

Gotta love his very large lack of eloquence! lol

Oh well…Goodbye Mr. Bush! And Good Luck Mr. Obama! Atleast we all know your words have the power to inspire rather then become the cream of the crop of American Idiocy!

Please Comment below, I wanna know what your favorite Bushism was!

Peace my Lovelies!

I almost thought it wouldn’t happen, especially after 8 years of George Bush, but Americans aren’t playing the dumb blonde anymore! (thats not meant to be as rude as it sounds) Good for you America! John McCain even conceded! It must be a dream lol I’ll check again in the Morning 😉 But honestly, Yay! Finally an American President that won’t screw over the rest of the world!

Barack’s Pre-Presidential Address

Last night (October 29th) Barack Obama addressed the American nation on 7 television networks with a half hour “infomercial” that drew an “American Idol”-sized audience delaying the baseball World Series. (some saying that this very act was un-american *rolls eyes* Palin *cough*)

More than 33.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the Democratic presidential nominee give a clear representation of his message and plans for his precidency. A large portion of this is spent showing real people with real problems. I commend the Obama campaign for taking the time to do this. There is alot of talk out there but only the people truly going through these every day problems actually know how bad the economy really is, how hard life is these days.

I know there is alot of speculation about Obama’s bank roll, the fact that he paid each network easily a million a peice to do this is in my humble opinion, admirable and exactly why Obama should win. He didnt use his money for special interests, he used it to support his message for change, the way he should.

Here’s the infomercial, the Obama campaign posted it on youtube:

Again I feel I must say, As a Canadian, I truly would be happier to see to Obama as the American President over McCain any day, 8 years of Bush Policy has affected Canada and another 4 years of the same policy will trickle down and continue to make things worse…Obama wants to look out for America, for the world. He’s worried about the people that need to be worried about and I for one truly encourage all American’s to look and see what your future could be. Give your children a chance for change. Give the rest of us a chance for change. Think of your fellow Earthican’s America (*yay futurama reference*)

Only 5 days left, lets hope they end well.

Happy Halloween Everyone!
